On Wednesday, March 3rd at 3:30 PM EST, join the Penn State Office of the Vice Provost for Educational Equity’s (OVPEE) Diversibility Committee as they host a talk from disability rights activist Judy Heumann.
This event is to “commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), which protects individuals with disabilities from discrimination in areas of public life” and to “provide insight into the origins of the disability civil rights movement and ongoing advocacy for disability rights in America.”
